“I’ve had no interest in dogs all my life,” he said.

“I was in France once and I was doing an early morning run on a beach and a pack of dogs appeared out of nowhere and they started chasing me.

“I was almost scared to death.

“I was always on the go and couldn’t have a dog even if I wanted one”.

Charlie said Tiger goes everywhere now.

“I’m really mad at Tiger now, he’s been with us for over six years now.

“Last year when I got these horrible fits of coughing Tiger would stare at me and same thing when I get the uncontrollable fits of crying – again Tiger is in my head.

“He takes care of me – I would lose my life if anything ever happened to him.

“Me and Claire are absolutely infatuated with him, he sleeps in the bed with us sometimes [us].

“I often go to bed at night crying very emotionally and Claire brings Tiger to me and I hold him for most of the night.

“Now I’m not going anywhere without a tiger”.

“I was cheated on”

Charlie said he accidentally bought Tiger from a puppy farm, although he had tried his best not to.

“I was cheated,” he said.

“I did a great deal of research to make sure I wasn’t buying the Cockapoo from a puppy farm.

“We’ve done everything we can to ensure we’re not buying from a puppy farm.

“I even asked the lady who sold the puppies if I could see the father of the litter and she told me her husband ran him over.

“I was totally fooled.

“Shortly after we got Tiger, we had to take him to the vet for a check-up.

“The vet said he was probably from a puppy farm given his condition.

“I finally found out that the farm where I bought him has over 70 breeding bitches.

“I was on the Late, Late Show with Tiger and urged people not to buy from puppy farms, but unfortunately that still happens,” he added.
